"I just was recently informed that we will not be providing the coupons any longer. You would need to contact the hotels individually for any coupons. Ruby"
Ohhh that is bad news - between my wife and I those coupons save us $100.00 per trip

Wow! That's too bad! Thanks for the report about this!

That is too bad. I wonder if that's why MSS and Fremont have buffet coupons in the MRB this year; none of the Boyd downtown properties have had coupons for many years.

You know Jon, that's what I was thinking. Maybe the Boyd properties felt that they were inundated with those other coupons and that LVAers might be more likely to play too and maybe the use of the coupons could be done by us in a better way with less people using them since people have to pay for subscription before getting the coupons whereas the other way anyone could get those coupons.

So maybe the FSE Coupons weren't worth it for the Boyd Casinos. Maybe they were losing too much money offering them.

Those coupons brought a lot of people downtown and I am guessing the cancellation of this program will hurt downtown a great deal. The SUITS are at it again. How many times do we see a decision like this that we know will hurt the bottom line and we wonder who in a position of authority could be so ignorant. We will spend one night downtown next trip and we will give most of our business to Boyd (and good old El Cortez) because by participating in the LVA coupon program Boyd is telling us that they want our business. I will keep my eye on the downtown coupon page as I am guessing this decision will be overruled quickly.

I don't believe that for a second.

Not many people even knew about this coupon sheet, and many of us that did didn't use it.

If the disappearance of an obscure coupon sheet could "hurt downtown a great deal", well, downtown was already dead. Which it is not.
Once again we hear from the all knowing authority, the Wizard of Oz, er Chilcoot.
Doc, if you and Chilcoot are going to fight, please take it elsewhere. The discussion is about the downtown coupons, not about your differences.
