Fremont Street Experience announces summer concert series lineup

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Fremont Street Experience has announced its Rock of Vegas summer concert series lineup.

The concert series takes place in May through August. The first concert on May 19 will feature Theory of a Deadman.

Other concerts include:

May 25 -- Fuel and Lit
June 8 -- Hinder
June 28 -- Summerland Tour 2013 Alternative Guitars starring Everclear, Live, Filter and Sponge
Aug. 31 -- Puddle of Mudd

More concerts for July and August will be announced at a later date.

All concerts are free.

Get Sirrius or XM radio and turn to the Octane station, channel 37on serrius, and you can hear these bands.

I think that I must be the only AARP member in America who actually listens to this .

Wow that's a bad lineup. Real bad.

Can only hope that July and August are better. They sure won't be drawing any extra visitors downtown with this lineup.

This is actually a really good lineup for free concerts. These bands are a $25-$50 ticket in other spots around the country. They need more dates though. Pretty sparse.

For a FREE FSE show, this is a great lineup. You are not going to get any A list acts to play downtown for free (outside of a few up and coming country acts).

Plus, its a welcome change from the "Washed Up 80's Hair Band" summer concert series that seems to be the normal every year.
