 Great idea.

No doubt this will work better than the ubiquitous police 'towers' seen in parking lots, etc.  Forget the idea that someone is in that high up booth watching for break-ins, etc.  Here a rash of parked car smash (windows) and grabs in a high-end part of town made the news recently.  Folks parked their cars (designated parking) to walk a bridge over the river, enjoy a lovely park, etc.   Reports of break-ins revealed that the towers are largely unmanned, with surveillance going to the main police station, which of course does not have the manpower to watch the video/thief action and dispatch someone to catch the low-lifes in action or at least soon after.   And not to mention folks assumming their possessions are safe when left inside the cars.

But will the casinos that charge ludicrous resort fees and deal terrible blackjack games finally be brought to justice? THAT'S the true crime scourge downtown that needs to be addressed.

Just don't play or stay.   Simple.
