GN,GG,Plaza or MSS

I was at GN Rush tower last year and lowed it, as we'll be going again this year decidimg where to stay.
I like the GN as it was quiet and smoke free. I have been reading issues with booking rooms at MSS.

Do you recomend the MSS, I saw Plaza was nice, and Golden Gate looked interesting too. Which do you recomend and why? i would like a fridge and rom safe.
We'll go to the strip but the week we'll be there the room rates are like 3 x as much due to the poker turney closing.
Really the GN is the nicest place. On your list the other three Plaza second and the last two put names in the hat hoping you pick GG. If you liked the GN it will be hard to top it.
We had the Rush tower, it was smoke free and quiet. How is the noise levels at the other places.

It seems to me that most of the complaints I've seen related to MSS are about the windows having shutters rather than mini-blinds and that they don't keep the light out. I've stayed there many times and have never had a problem with too much light in the room. I've also never heard the train.

Disclaimer: I can sleep through anything.

I love MSS. It's certainly not as nice as the Nugget, but it's a good value, especially when you consider the value of the restaurants there and at the Cal. Because of the high ceilings, the smokiness factor of the casino is almost non-existent.
AND MSS has 3/2 BJ (No 6/5) and lots of playable VP in all denominations.

We stay at GN most often but MSS has a lot of character and mckenztf's opinion exactly mirrors mine.
Never stayed downtown but will be at MSS for two nights next week. I have played and eaten there before and am really looking forward to finally staying downtown.
Hey Morty!

You can't go wrong with MSS.
Do try a meal @ 777, and don't forget happy hour there.
1st stop on my list. Really liked watching MNF there last December..... $20 a day food guarantees it!
