GN Gold Rush Rooms

Has anyone here stayed in these rooms?

I want to be in the Rush Tower.
I have stayed in the deluxe king rooms and they are nice. Are the Gold Rush worth the extra $50 per night?
Are the rooms any bigger, or quieter?

For a similar price, would you take the corner jr. suite instead?

We enjoyed the Gold Rush room last year. It is larger than the regular room and had a refrigerator, which the other rooms did not. The floor requires a room key on the elevator for extra security. There is coffee, water, and snacks in the hallway by the elevator. I don't know if it's worth the extra $50 per night though. The regular Rush rooms are pretty nice.

I have not tried the Gold Rush room...but I did get the Rush corner suite once. The corner suite is a joke IMO. Its a little more space compared to the regular Rush Rooms and an extra TV. The extra space is just dead space. I wouldn't pay up for it under any circumstance. Even if they give it to you as a free upgrade - its not a big deal. They should really try to put more amenities in the corner suite if they want to advertise it as an upgraded room.
