Going Green at the Four Queens

I have been nailing stays at the Four Queens off Hotwire for as little as $23 per night OTD. The Four Queens has no resort fee so this is a great deal. At check in if you choose the "Go Green" option you can shave it even more. The Four Queens will give you $10/day in food credit if you select Go Green and do not use the maid service. Make sure you use the DO NOT DISTURB sign on your door. Also do not accept anything from the maids. You must use your food credit each day or it expires. The food credit does not carry over and can not be added together. You can use the coupon book( 2 for 1 food deals) given at check in to stretch the value even more. Here's the best part, if you need towels ,coffee, or toilet paper all you do is request it at the hotel registration desk. They ask you to leave the towels in the room and not bring your dirty towels to the front desk. The day you check out you can't Go Green as your room has to be cleaned by a maid for the next guest. So there will be no $10 dining credit on your last day. I used my food credits at Magnolias and I'm not sure if you can use them at other places.
I do this all the time. I think you can also use it at the Chicago Brewery. You can NOT use it a Hugo Cellars. When I check in I just ask for extra coffee and I am usually set for the entire visit.
Now that you mention it, you are right. No Hugo's. Chicago brewery is another play. Thanks for clearing that up!
I thought it was $10 per stay. anyway silly me, I think I have forgotten to use my $10 a time or two. I will checkout hotwire. thx for the tip.
