Gold Spike - Room safes?

Has anyone stayed at Gold Spike since they revamped it a few years ago? I have a few days without a room booked and I was considering one of their "suites"...I dont see anywhere on their website or booking sites where they list room safes as being available.

Does anyone know if they have them? I need to have a safe.
I posted the question on TripAdvisor and was informed that rooms at Gold Spike do not have safes.

Bummer....their suites actually look pretty cool and can be had for around $100. I won't leave my bankroll unprotected, though.
A few years ago, those remodeled cinder block rooms could be had for $7.77 with the MRB coupon. No way are those rooms ever worth $100.

Call them and ask. Don't depend on what someone else told you, what you read, etc.

At Harrah's Reno (granted, a dump), our room had a safe. Our friend who traveled with us, her room didn't have a safe. She spoke to the front desk, they move her to a room that had a safe.

At the very least you'll let Gold Spike know a safe is a factor in where you stay. Maybe they'll install some.

Well, the person who responded was a PR rep for the hotel - so I'm pretty sure they're right. But, yeah, maybe it will motivate them to get some
