I made my way over to the Golden Gate today for my $1.99 shrimp cocktail and the games area is under construction. The table games area is roped off with black cloth curtains and a gang of construction workers are in there right now. I asked one of the security guards what was going on and his reply was that construction started today and with the guys going 15 hrs a day and hope to have everything finished by this Friday. Players club has been moved to the front desk area.

Sounds like they are putting in a new sound and recessed lighting system .

It was a bit hard to sit down and enjoy the shrimp cocktail with about 2 dozen construction workers pulling down the roof and yelling a screaming at each other the whole time - quite loud but as always the shrimp are fantastic
