Golden Gate - too busy to reply

I emailed Golden Gate 10 days ago to tell them that I tried to sign up for their email list but it wouldn't accept a Canadian postal code - kept rejecting the form and saying to reenter it.
So I emailed and told them that I visit Vegas 4 times a year - always stay comped at Mirage Group or Hilton - and was considering staying downtown for one visit this year.

Nothing - they must be very busy

I'm "gold" there and have yet to ever get an email.. they don't have a lot of staff dedicated to this..
I can't recall ever getting a single e-mail since they opened up their players club.

I'm on their facebook fan page and they don't have much information there either.

They are marketing their casino and the "party" theme but not really marketing their comps/rooms.

I stayed at the Golden Gate for three nights late in 2009; played BJ every night at $5-10/hand for 5 hours each night. Last year I played there several times, playing at least four hours at $10/hand each time. I even brought four of my friends with me on a couple of sessions at the tables. Last month two of my friends received an offer in the mail for two free nights. These guys played there twice at $5/hand and I've been there at least a dozen times in the past year and a half. I receive a e-mail from them about once a month, letting me know about a BJ or slot tournament, but not a word about a discounted of free night's lodging..go figure.


Glasses can affect your vision; especially when they have been emptied several times......
