Golden Nugget Online Room Rates

I would like to advise everyone and anyone that if you have booked a stay online with GN reservations, take some extra time to comparison shop at third party sites. I just saved $50 overall on our Gold Club rooms (North Tower 16th / 17th floor) by doing just that.

The odd thing is I had already made my reservation with Golden Nugget, and when I asked them to match the other rate I found (I even offered them the provider name and a screen shot since you have to log-in), they refused to match it. Saying it is against their policy to do so. With all the hotels offering a best rate guarantee, why would that be their policy? Oh well, if they want to pay a vendor to rent me a hotel room they could have reserved for me, that is their problem.

I'm just happy I found the cheap rate!!

The rate I found was on the website ticketsatwork.com but I also found a slightly cheaper rate on i4vegas.

I've seen this same phenomena a bunch of times where Expedia charges less than the hotel website. It makes no sense to me. They must get away with it or they wouldnt do it. It pays to be a good consumer

I don't know what you paid for your room, but I just booked for 12/01-12/06 at the Carson tower Deluxe for $37.00 + 5.00 downtown fee + tax. I'm good with that price for a great hotel.
