Golden Nugget towers

This was asked a few years ago, but what are the main differences of the towers at Golden Nugget since the renovations? 

I think it's mostly square footage.    Carson tower is the oldest building with the smallest rooms....but they are still appointed very poshly.    Rush tower rooms are bigger and maybe a little more contemporary design...but not any nicer in my opinion.    I stayed in A Rush tower corner suite one year which amounted to about 50 more sqft and an extra TV.  I thought that was a pretty underwhelming upgrade from the regular Rush tower rooms.

What matters downtown above all else is where your room is relative to the Fremont Street Experience. Trust me, you do NOT---do not, do not, do not---want to be facing the FSE, particularly on the weekend, when the noise goes on well past 1:00 am. Similarly, you don't want to be facing Container Park or the bars and nightclubs that inhabit Fremont near LV Blvd (THAT crap doesn't stop until 4:00 in the morning!!!).

So this means that you want a room facing west (away from the FSE) and north (away from Container Park). Which tower you're in, and how high or low you are, are strictly secondary considerations. Trust me on this one. If I'm planning on staying downtown but can't get a room away from the noise, I'll pay twice as much for a room in a Strip megatoilet.

I have stayed in all four towers, but I've only been in two towers the past few years...............the Spa Tower and the Carson Tower.  My friend's Carson room was outdated and was noisy due to a nearby outdoor concert.  The Spa Tower is very nice, the suites are large and expensive (I believe that all are two story).  Our won't discuss the Gold tower, as my last stay there was many years ago.  I like the Rush Tower due to the updated rooms.  They built this tower maybe 15 years ago from the ground up, so the rooms are slightly larger, and the plumbing and electrical are new.
