Good Italian Food Downtown? Andiamo at "THE D"?

Where can we get a nice Italian Dinner without going broke Downtown? THANKS

We are staying at the "D" in October and I was wondering if anyone has ate here? We are looking for good Italian Food with out going broke. OR....how about the place called "Chicago Joes" downtown? Thanks for the help.

Haven't been to either, but I've heard a lot of good things about both. I'll be curious about who's been to either or both.

I have walked by a place in the California casino called "the Pasta Pirate" about a hundred times. I know of it, but nothing about it. I am assuming with Pasta in the name it's an Italian restaurant

Pasta Pirate is sort of Italian; limited menu, mostly seafood and pasta. Pretty good, and it's usually easy to find coupons.

Chicago Joes is superb when they are "on" - their weakness is lack of consistency - and even when they are off they are still pretty good.

I have eaten at Andiamo's. Food is great, the portions are large and the service is excellent. Dinner for two should run around $100, not including wine.
Don do you have any recommendations? I'm going there in a few weeks.
