Grand..

Lately I haven been reading about the new Downtown Grand and how it will be the new spotlight of the downtown scene. Is it really going to be that nice or do they have an excellent marketing/PR machine going?

going in 4 weeks. the grand opening is after I checkout but I hope to report the room/dining and VP (at least JOB) paytables. Slots, I'm already guessing, will be a bunch of new ones. Good luck!

we just got back from a stay downtown and walked around the Downtown Grand and peeked in the windows, looks really nice, all new slots, and new everything, the outside looks great and the inside looks really nice too ! I would stay there next time for sure.

They're going to have to draw the Fremont St crowd over that way.

Interesting to see if this place makes more people go downtown...or if it just thins out the current downtown crowd.

the official ribbon cutting is today 11.12.13 for obvious reasons......but it has been "OPEN" for a couple weeks now, looks very nice-some nice places to eat and all new machines too, it should be a big hit. I was there in October but it wasn't open yet - we did peek in the windows though. Looks sharp, plus the rooftop pool should be a big hit because downtown offers hardly any nice pools ( Golden Nugget is the niceset one probably )

We were there last week. Signed up for the Players Card. We each got Three Dollars free slot play after playing ten dollars. What a promotion.
