Downtown Grand used to give out free rooms like candy....not so much now. But its nice to see they're keeping the coupon play going.

Both "The D" and "Golden Gate" are owned by the same group - but I find the casino to be more player friendly at "The D". I'm pretty sure you can spend your comps at either property. The best thing at DuPars is the fresh squeezed OJ.

We just spent a couple of days down town. Our first stop was El Cortez where we cashed our tax refund check and received $50 free play. We also used the $10 free play coupon from our LVA book where my wife drew an envelope from the barrel. It was for $100 free play! We also used our 2for1 coupon for dinner at Seigel's. To top this off my wife won $200 at blackjack (where she usually reports getting her butt kicked)

We also were successful with the $25 match play at Golden gate. We were pretty lucky.

Nice job all the way around. Our envelope was only good for $10.

Heading to Vegas tomorrow with my MRB in hand ( or at least packed)!
