As for Plaza, at least before you leave (or maybe you could try it once a day after you've played a while), go to the Slot Club booth and asked them whether you have earned enough comp dollars for anything.
And also don't forget about the Daily Slot Tournament at Plaza which you can enter after you have earned 25 points for the day (I think that the Tournament runs between 10AM-7PM).
Now with Four Queens, I guess that you can ask the Slot Club booth how comps work or still go through a host.
For me, I really don't need anything from them since they have no Kosher food there.
