How cold are the casions downton (Plaza)? Haven't been in the summer in a few years. Last time I had to buy a coat due to it being so cold inside.

The older the casino, the less efficient its climate control systems, with the effect that in order to make sure it's cool enough everywhere inside, in some areas, it's...cold. The Plaza is one of the oldest casinos downtown.
I would pack a windbreaker. That should be enough to keep you comfortable, and it's very portable.
Also, you might not think of it, but staying hydrated is the best way to maintain your own personal climate control system. You know you feel the heat more when you're parched--you feel the cold more, too. So...bottled water.
Thank you Kevin

It wasn't too cold at Plaza or El Cortez last week. However, I like to wear a sun shirt which is basically a very light long sleeved pullover/hoodie. The ones I get are made from bamboo, super soft, ultra light but provide sun protection while staying cool, and oddly enough, just enough warmth when in a highly refrigerated environment.
One of my local casinos blasts frigid air year around so a full hoody in the hottest summer days is always needed. They are really overdoing it there.
