How is MSS these days

Very strange on the reviews of the buffet as after seeing many reviews on YouTube they all give a very good rating.

Anthony just did a review and gave it praise.

i would try with a 2-1 coupon but no reason for me to go down there otherwise,

Having eaten there many times when it WAS good quality and a good deal, I can definitely say that it's far worse than it used to be, and certainly no bargain, either. The quality of the food is about a 3 or 4 on a scale of 1 to 10; edible, but that's all. And it seems like the stuff sits there for longer than it does in other buffets.

I usually trust LVA's reviews, but I have to say, I disagree with this one wholeheartedly. That could be because I remember how good it used to be, but surely Anthony does, as well. And I don't really award good grades to anything on the "everything else is even crappier" scale, which I must admit, is kind of the only way to judge anything in Vegas these days. If something doesn't horribly suck and isn't a complete ripoff, well, give it three stars.

South Point's buffet, at roughly the same price point, runs rings around the MSS buffet, and the Palms buffet, though getting more and more (and more and more) expensive, offers a much better experience and better quality.

Agree with David and Kevin, I'd consider the MSS buffet (at least as of my March 2024 visit) to be barely edible.  Besides everything sitting around untouched for hours due to minimal traffic, quality was way, way off compared to the olden days.  Yeah, typical post-2017 (or post-whenever they gutted their players club) Boyd.  I don't know how LVA could have given them a favorable review (unless things have radically improved since my last visit), I often see some conflict of interest in their reviews but Boyd hasn't done shit with LVA for years.
