If you have to choose 1 Buffet for breakfast or lunch only, which is the best option:
- MSS
- California
- Fremont

MSS has the best Brunch!!

I would vote for the MSS buffet over the Fremont. I don't think the Cal has a buffet per se although their Market Street Cafe has a small one for breakfast.

I agree with the MSS pick. Fremont buffet has a nice setting but the food just isn't quite as good. We usually eat at the Paradise cafe inside the Fremont buffet. Same setting but with menu service. The Cal has a few warming trays set up in the cafe. They will let you order the "buffet" but do yourself a favor and order from the menu.

I've never had a great meal at any of them. I'd chose one of the many awesome diners downtown before any of those buffets. Unless its free.

MSS all the way. Not close. Second choice would be to follow PJ's suggestion and chose one of the diners

I've had both the MSS buffet and the Fremont buffet. The only thing I like about the Fremont buffet is it's awesome 1980's Golden Girls motif. I feel like I'm on the set of the television show and Estelle Getty (RIP) is about to come out and say, "Picture, Sicily, 1924..."

Go with MSS all day, every day!

I've been there 3-4 times, I've brought my wife; my brother-in-law; friends from home and international travelers. Everyone has thoroughly enjoyed whenever they've eaten there. Don't let the low price make you think it's cheap, "I'll have some of the yella'--The bread puddin' is extra runny today, Clark" type quality...because it's not! Use the MRB coupon and you're in for a nice breakfast.
