Just a few hours till Vegas 2015! This will be the shortest Vegas excursion to date, 36 hours from wheels down to wheels up.
I always make a list/schedule/plan, knowing I will only get to about half if lucky. But I do try and hit at least 1 new spot. So, here's my game plan:
- I dont land until 1030 PM Vegas time, so it will be close to 1130 before I get checked in. I'll play around Downtown tonight (GG/Plaza/D) and see whats new before the time change catches up and I crash.
- Saturday is a coupon run. Starting at Silver Sevens for play and breakfast, then to Ellis Island, Max, Stage Door and finally to the Palms for lunch.
- From here I dont know if I will cab it to Palace Station (never been) or head back Downtown.
- I may hit the California pool for a minute, but more likely to play at the Grand. Hit the GN and throw some money on my Dawgs to take the SEC East then walk through Container Park (never been). Some late night Roulette at the El Co is a must!
- Want to take advantage of Du Pars for Breakfast Sunday morning before hitting the airport.
- Granted all of this is subject to change because its pretty easy to get comfortable at a spot and next thing you know its been 5 hours.
- Bonus: Its going to be 105 degrees! (blah blah dry heat blah blah)
- My only real goal is to sit, play, have a drink, take a deep breath & not lose my kids college fund, again.
