Low Rollers Solo Pre-Trip Report..

Tomorrow afternoon I fly from sticky, humid Atlanta, bound for oven hot Las Vegas!!
This is my annual Low Rollers Solo Trip downtown. Its a quick trip, 2 nights at the Golden Gate, but I think I have planned enough to keep me busy but with some free time too..

Before I leave, I like to make a list of stuff I "plan" to do, then when I get back, I compare it to what I actually did..

So, here are this years plans:

- Try sweet talk/CC trick my way into a new suite at the GG
- Dinner at Magnolias then Joe Nichols concert at Silverton Friday Night
- Saturday Coupon run to Terribles, Ellis Island and a drink at Stage Door Casino
- Check out Peppermill for the first time
- Check out Jerrys Nugget for the first time (I need a replacement for The Western, RIP)
- Late night .25-cent Roulette at El Co.
- Check out all the hype around "D" and see if the music really is that loud
- Hit the traditional downtown joints (Plaza, VC, Gold Spike, 4 Queens)
- Time willing, I'd like to spend some time at The Orleans
- Use as many coupons as possible
- Not pay full price for a meal or drink..
- Take that town down!! Im gonna own that place!!
- And, as tradition, stay away from Circus Circus.

Ill be tweeting my adventures, so feel free to follow me: Marko6262

Thanks
Marko..
Have a safe, fun and profitable trip! But be aware that Las Vegas can become humid during July and August while there is the Monsoonal Flow coming up from Mexico. Hopefully it won't be that humid when you're there!

Marko... have a great trip. I'm making my first non-December trip the 6th of August. I'll be staying downtown solo... so I might just walk in the righteous path you set.
Have a safe, enjoyable and profitable trip! Was downtown recently and had a great time at 4 Queens - great cocktail service and I hit 4OAK. We liked 4 Queens. While you're at El Co, why not use the Flame coupon and treat yourself to the best crab legs and creamed corn you'll find anywhere? The steaks are pretty good, too. If you make it to The Orleans, stop by Big Al's and try the clam chowder. If you don't mind driving further out to South Point, we like The Big Sur Oyster Bar just as much as Big Al's (try the bloody mary shooters) and SP offers better VP and a very friendly set of WOF machines. Wherever you go, break the bank!
