Ditto on Magnolia at Four Queens for a good breakfast, as Kevin posted. Good food, nice selection (looks like they are back to their larger "pre-Covid" menu), and reasonably priced.
4Q also has Chicago Brewing which has good craft beer (and excellent Root Beer!) plus thin crust pizza if you are in the area for an informal lunch or dinner.
It's officially reopening on Sep 8. They sent out emails to Boyd players notifying them. Doesn't say anything about the buffet but I'm pretty sure that will still be closed.
scratch my last post regarding the buffet....they are bringing it back with limited hours. That runs contrary to what Boyd has been saying publicly about bringing back buffets. But its welcome news, I guess. I wasn't a big fan of the MSS Buffet but alot of people were. I guess they think its too big of a draw to get rid of.
I saw that they removed the coin dropping video poker machines. Does anyone know if they replaced them with regular video poker machines?

The old, coins-only video poker machines at MSS were replaced by slots. I did not see any new video poker machines there but some of the previous ones were moved around. I've been there about three times since they reopened.
