Main Street Station to open on September first?

With the Cal and MSS lay offs, who knows when they may re open. Dang!

Close them both for 6 months? Back open in 2021? Had plans for both next year.

Boar's Head bar and 9/6 VP with comp beers.

The layed off employees would be smart to move to the Circa.

WTH!?  I just got a 3 night comp at the Cal or The Fremont! November 29 to Decemberfirst. REALLY?

The choices between the two? I gotta look it up on line, now.

My BJ is a little rusty. We will play some craps.

No 'Vegas this year for me- I'm too old and vulnerable.vulnerable. See you all in March.

The CAL is open and looks like MSS will be December 1st, soonest you can make reservations there

I still don't expect Main Street to open until late spring or early summer.  Until the older population is vaccinated in Hawaii and the U.S., their bread and butter won't feel comfortable in going. If someone hears otherwise please let us know.  We love Main Street, less noise and the Hawaii people are cool. California is ok but not quite the same as Main Street.

Rocky, I don't spend enough time at Main Street Station, but like you I love it when I'm there.

I think that's the major determining factor. Hawaii, though by no means immune to the outbreaks, has weathered the worst of them. I doubt that the state wants people to travel to the mainland, or that people are that interested.

That aside, there simply isn't enough business to keep all the downtown casinos alive right now. If they all were open, they'd be cannibalizing each others' business.
