Main Street Station vs 4Queens

We are planning a trip in March and have similar offers from both MSS and 4Q. Our main priorities are low noise level at night and clean room. What are your preferences for those properties? We gamble at all the casinos downtown, but like a comfortable "home base". Is the highway noise a problem at MSS? Is the FSE noise a problem at 4Q? Thanks for your help!

I can speak for staying at Four Queens and can say that I have been put in the North Tower and it can be noisy -- especially if you have a window directly facing the Fremont Street Experience.

It does depend on how sensitive a person is to noise especially for when sleeping.

Larger rooms at MSS. Both have tiny bathrooms.

Never stayed at MSS, but in my experience, if you ask for a south tower room, or a south facing room in the north tower, FSE noise is not a big issue at the Four Queens.

I haven't been to Main Street Station in like 10 years, but the railroad train would pass by in the middle of the night and make a nice amount of noise.

I stayed at MSS Sept 2012. Room was clean. VP was good. 777 Brewery also was good and had decent late night breakfast

Both have noisy rooms and quiet rooms. If you stay at MSS ask for a room facing MAIN St - Not the freeway. Otherwise you'll hear semi's running by all night. At 4 Queens just ask for a quiet room...facing Carson st.

As far as room quality I'd give a slight nod to MSS just for the old-school look and feel but the room amentites are about the same at both places.

Agree with pjstroh. I like armchairs in my room - which puts MSS slightly ahead - but I do prefer 4Q casino and location.. Both have quiet rooms - just ask for one.
