Mayweather vs Pacquiao Effect on Downtown?

I was thinking the same thing....so why are people paying these prices? Seems like the casual visitor would see GG at $399 and look at another date.

I wanted to take my son out for his 21st B-Day in June. Apparently, it is the date of the Electric Daisy Carnival that weekend. We decided to go out on the following Tuesday instead of his birthday on Friday, as the same room at the Grand goes from $170 to $31/night. Airfare saved us another $240. We'll use that $650 at the tables.

By the fight on pay per view and go to Vegas a week later, don't fight the crowds, the hype,etc.
