Mexican Restaurant downtown

I heard there was a new Mexican restaurant downtown. I don't know if it's open yet. Does anyone know where it's located.
I am also looking forward to the response.

You may be aware of another fine "downtown" Mexican restaurant called "Casa Don Juan Downtown" which is located a few blocks away from downtown. It is more of a locals place, but it offers great food and really decent value. You can't walk to this place from Fremont Street as it seems like it is located in the seedier part of downtown along tonnes of bail bondsmen and XXX rated places. Strangely enough, the place feels like a family run version of a chain restaurant like TGIF or Chillis. The place is also rather large and every time I have been there, it is typically busy. I recommend Casa Don Juan for some good food.
I tried the burrito place just north of Stratosphere on Main. Its open 24 hours...and it was pretty awful. Might have been because I was in there at 3:00am.

PJ, you're probably talking about Tacos Mexico, it's a pretty ratty place, not that great but kind of an experience. That's the place with the marquee advertising brain and bowel tacos.

Not really downtown, but our favorite place in the area is Dona Maria's, in the Arts District. Easy bus ride (either Deuce or SDX, don't remember which), and really solid food.

Maybe you're thinking of Pinches Tacos in Container Park
Nacho Daddy has Taco Tuesday's (2 Tacos for $5) and their sirloin nachos are simply amazing!

I saw those "brain" tacos on the wall menu. I couldn't bring myself to try one - then again, whatever they served me was pretty lousy. Whose to say they didn't grind up a little brain in there?

Eeeesh. I didn't give it high marks on Yelp =)
nacho daddy is not bad, that is usually where I end up eating if I am downtown and I don't have any MRB or other coupons.
