Not a must, but a good experience. Allow about 2 hours to enjoy it, maybe slightly more. Rates are $18 per person with some discounts out there. There is a mob museum website---www.themobmuseum.org/
There is a coupon for $4 off on the LVA online coupons.
Went this March and planned on an hour or so to tour. My buddy had a coupon, but it was for something going on at the Tropicana. Talked the cashier in to giving us "locals" price for 4, as they had some catered opening ceremony and we were told we had but 1.5 hours to visit. Ended up getting ushered out as we had spent to much time, and the event was starting. Not a must see/have to do but was enjoyable. I usually spend alot less money at an attraction, than sitting at the machines.

Was there in April and enjoyed it.Spent about 2hours and 20 minutes but could of easily spent more time there. Not a must see,but well worth the time.
Thanks all for your help.

What everyone else said - I would definitely go. One thing that nobody mentioned is that when you pay you get an all day pass - so you could spend an hour, go have lunch and then return to carry on the tour. Also have to mentioon that the staff there rock - they are all committed to seeing it a success. Hope you enjoy it.
Whether it's a "must" depends really on your interests. I'm a history nut and the amount of very colorful history Las Vegas has crammed into its little over 100 years is amazing, due in no small part to the mob. So I thoroughly enjoyed it and will certainly go back.

Depending on how often you go to LV, or more accurately, to downtown, you might find it worth it to buy an annual pass, which was only $25 when I was there. The virtue of an annual pass is that you can go and just spend an hour really looking at one or two rooms.

I spent about 2 1/2 hours there, and by the time I got to the last couple of rooms, I just kind of blew throught it and didn't look at all the artifacts as well as I would have liked. I had just taken in too much stuff.

If you don't want to do that, I like tonyrob's strategy of breaking up your visit into a couple of sessions and break them up by having lunch or a couple of drinks.
Remember to bring your camera as there are some special features designed for that purpose.
Thanks,

Can't wait to see it.
