MSS or California

We have stayed at the MSS in the last couple of years but it has been many years since we stayed at the California. Was wondering if there was any big differences in the quality of rooms between the two places.

We don't think there is much difference. We stay at MSS , over three days, the scratch cards can add up.

I found that the bathrooms are larger/nicer in the new(er) tower at the Cal.

Both are older, but MSS *seems* a little cleaner. But I like Triple 7's, so its an easier choice for me.
However - the smoking rooms at MSS are really bad. Really stained into the walls/carpet.
