I am arriving to the room after the most degenerate gambling I ever did and way past my bed time but I did feel I have to post :D.
LVA I have to say thanks for the free tickets for Jay Bolan he was magnificent. Not many people and he took requests very, very talented. I probably wouldn't have gone but with the free ticket offer and when I started to look the reviews were good. He is very knowledgeable music wise and interacted a lot with the crowd so I am sure each show is different. If you enjoy the music of the 60-80's go see him. I am afraid with the low attendance he won't be around long. I would pay to see him I enjoyed him so much. A nice end to a crud day If your are thinking about DT you need to go the the 4 Q's and see him .
The D I wanted to like this place but I actually preferred Fitzgeralds. Yes the room is updated and the carpets clean. But ....... The music is so loud when I woke up and went down to the casino in the early am you couldn't talk you had to yell at the dealers and the pit boss. The music also was F this and F that NOT my cup of tea. They did turn it down after probably 9 am . Most of the folks I talked to felt the same way. They need to re think their clientele most the folks I saw were over 40 in fact over 50. If they want those folks to come back they need to change the volume and the lyrics. I have given this place 2 chances and even though it is free I probably won't be back. In fact with my play I probably won't be comped again. We did have fun on the Sigma Derby.
Other negatives in the am they had only 1 cocktail waitress for the ENTIRE casino who was to busy chatting with the dealers to wait on folks , I waited an hour for her to ask me what I wanted and then another good bit for coffee. They don't have any moisturizer in the rooms ( I know guys for you not a big deal), they also won't comp Kahlua , and the crap they serve in its place is nauseating.
If this is to jumbled just to put it down to way to much gambling and booze . I sure hope to gamble less and win bigger tomorrow
