Nasty Chips..

How often do casinos wash the chips (if ever)? Last time I was playing downtown (LV Club I think) I noticed how dirty my chips were. I even asked the dealer to exchange a few of them, not because Im a big germ freak, but because it was just nasty.

Do they have any guidelines for cleaning chips? I assume some of the higher end places rotate chips, but obviously not the smaller ones..

marko..

I think the only time they would get cleaned would be if someone spilled a drink on them ?
Check out the Question of the Day January 8, 2011, it goes into great detail. Short answer...what lee O said but it makes for interesting reading

I use a non-glossy ArmorAll and an old tooth brush. Wipe with a rag. Daughter likes her's as-is---says it gives them character. I prefer them cleaned up.

Some casinos will wash them when they stick to the felt and the dealer has a hard time peeling them off. Some won't.
