CIRCA resort and casino
Thanks Blonde4ever, real good info, looking forward to Circa, how will this change downtown?? will it be super overcrowded, super young, super more expensive, Love Vegas, love downtown. Again you always provide great ifo. Thanks.
There goes the neighborhood as prices sky rocket and downtown gets invaded by credit card touting millennials. Eardrum blasting music, traffic jams, ripoff esculating "resort" fees. Yeah, something to look forward to.

Thanks for another positive and uplifting post, doc. Now you need to head over to Kitchen Sink to bitch and moan about those pesky liberals...
Apparently voicing the truth does not sit well with blackjack - go figure...

Well put Black Jack!! Wish they had a "like" button on this site.
I'm looking forward to it. It won't just be different from every other place downtown, it will be different from every other casino in Las Vegas. The sportsbook looks amazing, and the roof pools/amphitheater looks cool! I do wonder how much they'll charge for rooms...
Attn. Mr. black jack: I’d like to buy you a beer!
One big plus - the return of Vegas Vicky (the Glitter Gulch neon lady) will return as part of the construction =)
Looks like downtown is getting another 4 star resort. If the casino is on par with the ones at Golden Gate and The D it should be a great addition. (Maybe another $25 matchplay for the MRB!)
But I'm worried its going to be more like Golden Nugget - which will make for some great rooms but more strip-like casino.
We shall see!
Here's what I'm hoping: Stevens decides Circa is his showplace downtown and installs strip casino conditions, like $25 minimums on the weekends and even further degraded video poker. Then he decides the D (or maybe more likely the Golden Gate) will be his value option downtown to sweep up Plaza/4Q customers, lowering table minimums and bumping up VP tables a bit.
Optimistic? Sure. No point in negativity until we see what actually happens.
