New Four Queens Parking Information

I've now been told that if you are a Four Queens Hotel Guest with a Parking Pass, unless you also present the parking lot attendant with your Four Queens Slot Club Card, you will still have to pay $3 for parking (which I don't think presenting the Slot Club Card should be a problem for people).

This is because Four Queens does not own the Parking Lot -- they lease it.

But I thought that I should give the group a heads-up about this!

I don't know about the slot card as I was never asked for one. At checkin I was given a parking pass I didn't pay much attention to as I had valeted my car. The next morning I went down to pick my car up at valet (pickup is not the same as dropoff BTW). My car was delivered and as I was about to exit, the attendant told me the charge was $16 for the previous day unless I had the pass, which was up in my room. Who ever needed a parking pass for valet. I assumed it was for self parking. Anyway, I parked and went to checkin and got another pass (no way was I going all the way up to my room). I showed the pass and I was gone. Screwiest parking situation I've ever heard of. Evidently, the 4Qs doesn't own the parking garage, hense the reason for guests to have passes. Just make sure you know all the rules before you play!

Good Luck!

So they charge for valet if you're not a hotel guest? I'm not aware of any other casino in Las Vegas that does that.
Not sure how new this might be. I stayed at 4Q's last summer. Sign on wall at valet has a price quoted for parking. Valet told me just get a pass at check in and there would be no charge.

I will be there in 2 weeks--I'll post my findings.

I valeted there a few months ago -- no charge (although I had to validate my ticket at the cage). Maybe it's changed since then?

I do know that when I worked at 4Q a few years ago (very briefly), they actually charged their employees to park in the garage. It was a monthly charge of around $30, if I recall correctly. Ridiculous.
Thanks for the heads up!
You're very welcome! And since I'm probably going to be staying there Tuesday night through Wednesday evening, I'll let you know what (if anything) I find since it's my friend's car that we're going in and he will be in and out of there (since some of the time he is going to be at a convention.

I think some confusion came from my previous post, thinking that 4Qs charges for valet. They don't charge for valet. What happened to me was that at checkin the clerk gave me a "parking pass" that I didn't pay much attention to as I thought it was for self parking and I had valeted. The 4Qs doesn't own the garage they use for self park and valet. Evidently, it's also open to other downtown workers and visitors. If you're a guest at the 4Qs, you use the afforementioned parking pass to wave any charges. My mistake was not listening at checkin to realize I needed the pass to get out of the garage no charge. I would not be suprised if they validated casino visitors also, but I don't know.

Good Luck!

They do validate casino visitors. There's a machine in front of the cage where you stamp your ticket.
Another example of great customer service.
