New VP machines at MSS bar

Just back from a week in Vegas. Planning to write a trip report, but wanted to post that on Wednesday, there were 5 new machines installed at the MSS bar. They are the machines at the far left end of the bar. They are slant tops and much easier to see than the old ones. They also have a change button so when you get a 4OAK you can press it to call for the scratch ticket instead of tracking down the bartender. For the games I play (JOB and DDB) the odds did not change, but there is no progressive on these machines. My husband and I were the first to play on them, and he was the first to get a 4OAK on one!

Congrats on your virgin 4OAK. It's great news about the change button, as we could wait for a long time, sometimes. Good to hear they didn't mess with the JOB. I hope the rest are switched by the time we get there in August.

Kbfife, do you recall if the new machines accumulate points at the same rate as the old machines? Or have they increased the coin-in to receive a point on the new machines? I know they would not reduce the amount of coin-in for a point.

I dont think they changed the coin in for points on these machines.

That is great news! I was there in March and it slowed my playing time, and irritated bartenders every time I hit the 4OAK. I love the cards promo, but it was taking up to 5 mins to get an attendant. I love MSS!

Just back from a week Downtown, and a lot of play at MSS bar. Most of the machines are new slant tops on the left side, and much easier to see. Got 5 scratch offs and each was a whopping 2.00! Sis had the same experience, but had one for $3.00. It's a great place to play, great atmosphere and very attentive, likable bar tenders.

Yes, it is much easier to see the new bar tops-major improvement. Bartender Jose is excellent.
