New Whiskey Bar on 2nd Floor of Binion's

Has anyone checked this bar out yet?

Best meatballs in Vegas!  Was there as it opened.

Not yet...but looking forward to it.

The Triple George also has killer meat balls!

This place looks great!  I'm in.

Off topic: How does the rotating bars plumber's engineer the water supply?

Ever see a rotating hot tub?

Circus-Circus has a rotating bar.

I can envision how line power gets there. I guess I'll look it up on line.

Never mind. The BAR doesn't rotate, the people do.

The customers change (their relative) places without getting out of their seats.

That's gonna have to be getting used to."Oh,you are over there, now",says the bar keep.

It ain't cheap. My buddy and I sat at the interior bar about a month ago before going up to the steakhouse. The "regular" drinks (vodka tonic and gin and tonic) were $14.00 each. Strip prices have reached downtown!

I believe it has been mis named. It should read "Triple Gouge".

It will be interesting to see who how large the appetite is for $14 drinks.  Let's see how busy they are on a random Tuesday night at 5 PM.  I'm still trying to square Derek Steven's new development downtown.

$14 VODKA & TONICS!!!???

Hard pass...

For that kind of price, the meatballs should be complementry with each drink.

Those prices were made to suck up your comps and food vouchers from your offers.    Downtown Grand dollars can be spent at the Triple G.    That $15 food voucher they sent you in the mail suddenly doesn't seem so lucrative when you realize it hardly covers the price of an appetizer  =)

People dont mind spending the house's money on overpriced food and beverage.    But its a good lesson that the dollar value of your comps is relative to the places you can spend it at.
