Just confirmed flight for May 20th. Staying 2 nights downtown.

Booking any day. Going in Aug or Sept for a week. Will be our 37 trip for me and my wife. Also our 35 Anv. Always look forward to our trips to Vegas. Will stay at the MGM again as we love the pool area. It can not come fast enough for us.

Speaking of the pool, Im staying at GG and maybe book at night at MSS to take advantage of the roof top pool. I wish they had a better offering Downtown for the pool scene, but aside from the Nugget, I know theres not much to chose from. Plus, Im cheap and dont want to pay to get into the GN or DTG pools.

did u mean the pool at the Cal or the pool at the Plaza? MSS does not have a roof top pool. the GN pool is nice but chairs are way too close together and too much shade. if u r staying at GG, u can use the pool at the D. and that one is very old school holiday inn-like. I do like the pool at the Grand. have fun!

Sorry, yeah. I meant the Cal pool. Much like the D, it's nothing fancy, but all I really need is 1 hour to cool off, have a drink & not lose money.

Unless things have changed in the last year or so, all that there was at the Cal pool when I last saw it was the Cal Pool and some chaise lounges but no drink service! Also, if I'm remembering correctly, the pool was not too deep either.

sounds correct to me. but i will take the Cal pool over the one at the D. I have found myself to be the only one a the Cal pool at times, and it is a nice relaxing break. I would probably be willing to pay a fee to use the pool at the Grand, as long as it is no more than $10.

The DT Grand Pool is really nice. Last summer we got a tour from the food/drink manager (we were hanging out at the bar around 10 am, it wasnt crowded and started a conversation with him which led to a property tour).
I think they charge $20 for non guests to use the pool (maybe more for events/bands/djs). If it was $10, I'd pay it.
I heard the Plaza is going for a big pool upgrade. Ive always liked the Plaza pool. Big, cold and a fun view.

I spent 3 days last year hanging out at the Grand pool, I loved it. it was really hot and got a little crowded, but still enjoyable. I have never been to the pool at the Plaza. I was told that Binions still has a pool that guests from the 4Q can use, I don't know if that is still the case.

Yes, Binion's pool is available for FQ guests.
