Indeed. It's not horrible, and you'll be fine there for one night -- it's just not a luxury resort, either.

Ask for a corner room if there's one available -- I think they're a tad larger, and you'll get windows on two sides of the room.

Check out the Bonus Poker game in the bartop machines at the Vue Bar (2nd floor) -- they're great.

One should check for bed bugs at any hotel they stay at, since bed bugs are brought in by people who stay in the room, and have been spotted at just about every major hotel in Las Vegas.

Ahhh!!! The Vue Bar. That's my favorite place to hang there.

So....trip over....actually loved the Fitz. While it's not fancy (at all), it was certainly clean, and quiet and comfortable. Glad we stayed downtown and I would certainly try the Fitz again.
