Now that The Western is Closing..

.. what spot will hold the title of the cheapest drink downtown?

For me, one of the big draws of that extra (very aware) 2 block walk from El Co to the "locals haven" was the people watching and the cheap drinks. $5 pitcher of Coors or MGD, $3 for a Carona and shot of Sauza?! Nice!

Where will be the next best place/dive to get a cheap drink and play a bit..

El Co? Coupon run at Plaza/VC (they usually have $2 draft or 2-4-1 drinks), Happy Hour at a Fitz bar?

This may take some investigating..

Marko..
I will miss the pool that's the pool of blood in the parking lot
Cheapest drink downtown is at the Las Vegas Club,
50 cent tap Hamm's Beer.

I saw that last month.. but was a little weary about it.. How was it?
Stage Door Casino (off strip, behind Bills) has $3 PBR and a shot.. As close as it gets..

You asked about Downtown and that is the cheapest,
quite a few people ordering 2 for a buck. I had one and
it was Ok. As you know the Stagedoor is not Downrown.
I couldn't even bring myself to drink Hamms when I was a broke college student. You might as well go to the parking garage and lick up some anti-freeze for a buzz.

I dont really follow drink prices. As long as your playing most places give you free drinks...and I'm always playing.
