Sounds like a great deal.  Book a couple of nights and go to down"town" with your LVA coupons.  Thanks for posting.

The insidious part is "starts at" $125 per night. Is that, like, only on weekdays? It's easy enough to get a room and two meals for that anywhere downtown if it's a weekday. I have zilch interest in being in Vegas in the summer anyway, but I wonder how much this offer is for a Friday and Saturday night.

I checked room rates by clicking the link.  I used June 16 for one night for one person as my example.  The calendar had the rate of $167.  When I went to proceed to check out, the rate was $104 with tax for a total of $109.07 for a deluxe king.   Go figure.

Good point and I didn't see a single day below $167 on the calendar.  But perhaps it's on checkout.  Either way, if the $125 isn't showing anywhere on their rate calendar it's a fail.

In my post, I indicated that the rate drops during the room selection process.  That was for a deluxe king room.  Queen rooms were more expensive.

That is good, but Plaza isn't going to sell many of these if they hide it in the checkout process.  That is a total fail.

I compared a June 16th deluxe room using the all-inclusive price and the price of a room with the resort fee.  The all-inclusive price was $109 while the same room with the resort fee was $88.  Is the $21 difference made up by the meals and drinks?  That's up to the consumer.

I don't value the drink bonus as worth anything, since it's ridiculously easy to get a free drink anyway if you gamble; certainly, the two meals would be worth that much, but as with all comps, the worth is only whatever you might have paid had you chosen to eat there without the incentive of comps. For me, the Plaza has nothing that would draw me away from Le Thai and Magnolia's gumbo.

Overall, this seems like a moderately decent deal, and the primary value, I think, would be to get yourself established with them, and of course you have a geographical base for a classic LVA coupon run.
