I sense a New thread...."beware of the Plaza Deal' or the soon to be released sequel "Dont mess with Exotic Escapes".

Seriuosly.. I for 1 appreciate dutz and co. for giving us this feed back/headsup. Initially I was thinking...."wow this is a great deal". Just another reason for having my LVA membership!

While there are lots of great deals when booking though third party resellers, this thread really highlights the benefit of booking direct.
I hope that you get your money back - but I don't believe that it is up to the Plaza to accept liability.

An old adage comes to mind- "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't",

I guess I should have known it was too good to be true.
But, we've gotten great deals through Groupon & Living Social in the past - Golden Nugget spa services for 1/2 off, Windsailing for nearly 1/3 the normal price.
I thought, well maybe the new Plaza isn't drumming up business like they had hoped & are going all out to get new business.
I did get all my money back. Living Social refunded the $149 & then I called my credit card to start a dispute on the room taxes. They didn't ask hardly any questions & gave me the refund on the spot. I'm thinking I wasn't the only person who they heard about this from.
So, lesson learned. We did try to call around & get details before we bought. When they were so vague, we should have known something was not right.
