Plaza info

Has anyone been to the new Bier Garten at the Plaza? It was supposed to debut last weekend. I saw the menu online and the list of beers looks outstanding. I'll venture over there a couple times during my December trip.
Aaaaaand they ruined the JOB paytables. For years Plaza was my personal best record number RF. At reopening, a close second to tunica RH. Then the 25c Job went bad, but as of this month the Plaza will never again be a stop for me with 8/5 JOB@ 25c. And it's not better with 50c. Fin. "Never fall in love with the upholstery," Fritz said. Across the street, VC has it, and no card readers, points, comps. How quaint, with Mss and 4q huge inventory 2 minutes away. Good luck!
They also have 9/5 JoB. When that is factored into our comped rooms, food comps and free play, it is our new downtown home. We are at MSS for the last time in December. Last time I was there I asked for a double scotch and the server refused me. Their drinks are the smallest downtown, and the service was lousy that night - one drink an hour average. I went and spent the rest of the night in other casinos. At Plaza I ask for a double and they offer me premium Scotch. Rooms are better, location is better, everything except for a small percentage difference on the VP - which I am more than compensated for.

Here is some new news on Plaza. In a new e-mail that I received from them, as of March 1, 2014, the Resort Fee (for those who pay it -- comped rooms don't pay it) is going up to $12 per room per day from the current $10 per room per day. I don't know if this fee is taxed also or at what rate it is taxed. Does anyone know this?

The Bier Garten is now open (it opened earlier this month [February 2014]). This is what Plaza's website says.
