Plaza Rates

Got a general e-mail from them today stating the new changes at the property with the remodel and rooms opening on Sept. 1st with rates starting at $ 44.00 makes them higher than what the GN charges.
Yeah, i'm not seeing offers for the property, yet. The host, emily, that recvp told me about wasnt in the LVC host office last weekend, but sue carmona was, and she seemed interested in the job: player development, I believe its called. I did not get a comp for my stay in the fall at the plaza. However, I'm not reading about any comp offers being mailed, yet. So I may see one before Nov. But the weekday casino rate, by sue, as of sunday was 35. I'm staying there, trying the trick for south tower upgrade as I always liked the view from the mini suites. I hope they have playable VP; before the 9/6 job left the main floor, the plaza was my personal best for most RF at any property. That's a lotta hours. Good Luck!
I'm nabbing one of those suites in December. I haven't decided if I'm doing the whole week there or just few days and then a few days somewhere else. I wait to see what the feedback is before deciding. It would be nice to have a place downtown with nice suites other than Golden Nugget.

Hey jmradford,

I have dealt with Sue in the past when Emily was not available and I actually did see her and speak to her very briefly during my most recent visit during the last week in June.

I do wonder if I will get separate types of offers from Plaza and Vegas Club because of Plaza's upgrade.

Good luck to you and I wish you all the best!

twice a year for 20 years I have been comped at Plaza....when I was there in June, I was put in Vegas Club due to Plaza being closed. I hated it....the machines were so loud we hardly played there. So now when I tried to book,,,,was told we hadn't played enough on last visit, in June. I think this sucks,,,they were the ones who put us there. They offered the casino rate of $35. but don't know if I want to try them again and see if they will have the old comp levels back...or wonder if they are going to up the amount of play required

Is Emily back? I tried to email her about 2 months ago, but got a response that her inbox was full.

Yes, Marko, I did see Emily at Las Vegas Club on June 29th and she still is my host.

And Emily now is (if she is away any more than about a day or so) having someone else from the department check her box to help out.

i guess it's on for a soft opening. i booked at rack rate the first saturday night, once I found the website to be finally taking reservations. The 90 bucks tax included are still less than some of my other options for the weekend after next. I may call sue carmona and ask for a casino rate now that I'm assured the room. I hope they have better selection of 9/6 JOB than before they remodeled. If not, back to the 4q and binions nexus of JOB with benefits! Good Luck!

Well there's always still Las Vegas Club since they do have a nice amount of 9/6 JOB now -- including in those machines that say that they pay 40% more!
