Plaza suite question

Trying to make plans to go to Las Vegas the 1st week of May

While investigating my choices, I went to the Plaza's web site and cannot find any rates for suites, JR suite, petite suites, etc?

The drop down box that says "choices"when you click on it, gives you only 2 choices #1 a deluxe room and #2 deluxe room with a view.

Does anyone know if the plaza has suites? have the suites been up dated? anyone know how I can find out what the rates are if they have them?

I stayed at the Plaza a few years ago and would like to stay there again.

Thanks weggie

I stayed 2 nights in a mini suite this past October. It was nicely remodeled and reasonably spacious. The only down side was a fairly small bathroom, especially the tub area. I booked thru their website. If I remember correctly, midweek price was around $50 per night. Although a host comped my stay before checkout, I thought it was an excellent value even if I had been charged for the room. Check in was a bit of a cluster. Other than that, everything was great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I got a suite a few years ago (obviously before the upgrade). It was a pretty big room w/ a great view of the strip. It had a small love seat, coffee table and bar (but no chairs). The closet was big but the bathroom was tiny.

It had plenty of room and could have easily fit a bigger couch and chair, but the furniture was on the small side.

marko..
We got a suite on our last trip. It was two rooms (as in two regular rooms, with connecting door) LR on one side BR on the other.

The bathroom was small (half bath in LR was small too) but the room was great.

We booked a regular room via vegasview for $50 on a Saturday night and I asked the check in lady if they had something fancy. I gave her $10 AFTER she gave us the keys.

We were very happy.

I heard from a friend who had just booked a mini- suite that now they are saving them for players and not able to book them on the website. I have stayed in these mini- suites several times and really enjoyed them. ( altho the toilet/tub area IS small). years back in the South Tower hubby and I got a HUGE room with a monstrous bathroom with 2 showers, double sink etc. One day the maid was in the next room and that room was even bigger with a big bar area, etc.
If they aren't booking the suites online, just give them a call. Depending on availability, they will give you a rate over the phone.

Well, I said screw it and just booked a deluxe room at the Plaza for a total of $329 for 6 nights. Most week nights were $29, and I just didnt see doing much better for a recently renovated room.

I will do some wheeling and dealing when I get to the check in desk and see what I can come up with for up grades.

Now let the countdown begin!!!!

I think you will be pleased.

I booked another single night for my trip in two weeks, I needed more (and they sent a free night!).
