Prime Rib at the Cal?

Counting down to my first trip out to Vegas in a couple of years. I'm looking at the latest issue of LVA and reading the back issues to go over what has changed. I will be staying downtown, and one of my favorite meals was the prime rib dinner at the Cal. (My favorite used  to be at Lady Luck, but that is a long time in the past!) When I use the LVA website to see the restaurant options at the California, it says the cost for the prime rib special in the Market Street Cafe is $8.95. But in the June LVA prime rib coverage, it says the good old "almost a top ten deal" on prime rib is $9.99. I don't mind the dollar and four cent price increase, but I want to point out, if that is the case, you guys at LVA may not be updating the casino listings regularly!

My wife and I just got back from Las Vegas tw weeks ago. We did this deal in the MRB. The $9.99 price is good only from 3pm-6pm. After 6pm it costs more for the same meal. We went around 5pm. It was no problem got right in and the meal is still a great deal.

Thanks, Benjamin! I really appreciate having the letest info!

For what it's worth, the prime rib at the El Cortez was really good.I don't remember the price, but it was good.

I want to say around 12 dollars and it is a good deal
