Probably the closest to a comp room I'll see at Plaza

I didn't say you were.

If that's the stakes you always play for, then the room comp is a nice little bonus.

If he's already gambling at that pace, the comped room is welcome icing on a cake.
At most, I said people would be making a mistake to increase their play trying to turn a very cheap room at the Plaza into a free one.

I'm glad to see you agree with me.
the math part always gets me. I respectfully admire posters who respectfully disagree, and respectfully decline to wage words. That some folks get comped and I dont usually, I'm accepting, since I have a habit of walking away with a large bill anytime the five i want line up at quarter JOB. I split my play between plaza and lvc last week and the host with whom i spoke was nice enough to comp one hash house meal post hoc. When I wanted a second run at that menu (it took a while to get up an appetite again) I got a players club booth comp made of combining "ep" calculated from one casino at 91 and the other over 230. I might have only put 910 coin in at one place, and I'm sure I put at least 2300 coin in at the other. Potentially those are theo numbers, then. So, with thanks for all the help, I'm making my next trip to the burbs in january, where the FSE wont keep me up at night. I suppose I'll have free play downtown, which I will report in due time, as a period for the sentence starting,,,'closest i'll come'.....Good Luck!
Yes, jm, this is how things work at Plaza and LVC. When it comes to comps, they base what they are willing to give players on not only their theoretical loss for the play (and then give players a percentage of that theoretical) but they will also factor in if the player has won or lost. And they also can kind of keep the comps separate if you play at more than one location since they have different monetary requirements to get comps.

I hope that this helps you understand what's what there! That just seems to be the way they roll there.
