Questions about 4-Queens

#1-have the rooms been remodeled...#2-how much do they charge to park in the garage..#3-how much do they charge for valet parking...#4-would you stay at 4-Queens or Main Street Station.
I have stayed at both. 4Q is currently under remodel. I have valet parked there for no charge + tip. both of them are basic lodging -- nothing fancy. the rooms at the MSS have white shutters, no room darkening curtains, so, if u r a late sleeper that sucks. 4Q will be more noisy. but then again, the back side of MSS is by the railroad tracks. if the prices were exactly the same, I would stay at 4Q, at least they give u a fun book with some good coupons. if u r staying downtown and not at the Golden Nugget or the downtown Grand, or maybe the cabana suites at el Cortez, then u WILL be staying in a small, old room. just don't expect much and it will be ok. clear as mud right?? good luck

2). Unless things have changed, if you are staying at the hotel, parking is Free if you get a Parking Pass from the Hotel Registration Desk. Make sure that you ask for it when you are checking into the hotel.

and 3). As far as I know, there is no charge for Valet (except for maybe a Tip), but you can double check with them and/or call the hotel and ask.

Re: #2 above, also make sure to have your permit when leaving the garage. When I stayed there a couple of
years ago, I was given a pass at checkin. I'd had a long day and didn't pay close attention. I thought it
was used for selfpark. The next morning I gave my ticket to the attendant, got my car and at the booth
was told the charge was $16 since I had no permit! I backed up, went to reg, got a new one and left.
like an Amex card, don't leave your room without it.

Good Luck!

Yes, make sure you have your pass. The hotel doesn't own the garage and employees are merciless.
4 Queens has in room coffeemaker - Main St doesn't. However the band noise is pretty loud for most of the rooms at the Queen. I ask for a high floor at Main Street away from the highway.
