If staying at the Cabana at the Tez get a room up high or you have street noises to deal with. Also, I believe the Grand is fairly quiet. I have stayed high in the tower at the Tez and never had a problem

Agree on Downtown Grand - even the towers at the El Cortez can be noisy late at night on weekends if facing Freemont street / East Freemont bars.
The Cal, Main street station and Plaza are fairly quiet.

Maybe, but choose your room wisley. Circa construction going on!
If at MSS,choose the NON-freeway side.
I've never had a problem sleeping in Vegas.
It's just like everything else when you're there...
When you're tired, you sleep.
When you're hungry, you eat.
When you're thirsty, you drink.
When you want to smoke, you smoke.
When you want to gamble, you gamble.
When you gotta take a dump, you dump.
When you need to be refreshed, you head to the pool.
When you want to see some naked, you go to Clark County.
When you need a laugh, you roll a green chip on the floor and watch what happens.
Well said Vegas Todd
