recently played 21 at the El Cortez. To my surprise they had cold bottles of beer in the

pit. Great idea, never waited  to long for a brew

It's a unique part of El Cortez.  They've been doing this for many years.   

As as a bonus, if they catch you counting cards, they can beat you senseless with the empties.

Yeah, the beer lady comes around every 5 minutes.  The cocktail lady comes around about once a night.

That is pretty funny!
