Score With Four Scratch Cards At MSS Question

Hey Group,

Does anyone here know whether MSS has actually changed the Score With Four Scratch Cards Promotion? I'm asking this because I seem to remember that it was supposedly also good if you hit a Straight Flush or possibly a Royal Flush as well (besides hitting Four Of A Kind) but when I just looked at the Main Street Station website, it only mentions players getting it with a Four Of A Kind.

Thanks in advance for any information that you can provide! I will say that I haven't been in there in a while and so have not played that promotion in quite a while but I am curious about this.

I was there in July and got a scratch card with a straight flush.
It applies to 4OAK or better, so a straight flush qualifies, as does a royal. Certain payouts on slots also qualify ( I think it's anything better than 200-1). The score with 4 promotion has been going on for a long time, and the only changes are that now at least 90% of the cards are for $2. There are a very few $3 cards and even fewer $5. cards. Supposedly there are higher values, but I've never seen one in the last 10 years. The good news is that if you're playing 10-7DB you already have a positive return expectation, and this just adds to it!
They also have 9-6JOB at the bar, and the bartender will happily call a floorperson over anytime you qualify for a bonus card. None of this takes into consideration their fantastic microbrews (free to players!!)

The Boar's Head bar is one of my favorite places downtown. . I agree with Roy on the micro-brews... they subtract 2 points from house advantage in my book. I cashed 11 cards for $21 which gave a positive $1 after the beer tips! Sweet!!! Already looking forward to my 1st post breakfast beer in December

Yes, I figured that nothing probably had changed, but I do find it strange that the site wouldn't say that the promotion also included when people get the Straight Flush and Royal Flush as well. Go to MSS's website to check it out for yourself.

we were there last week and bartender told us (after my wife got her 4th 4 of a kind) that some guy played all day, got 47 scratch offs, everyone was $2. Just saying..............
Yes, you get scratch tickets for any VP win 4OAK or better. I've gotten them for straight flushes, and in a recent trip a royal. I think the bar at the MSS is one of the most pleasant places to play VP anywhere. Their microbrews are good, the bar tenders are mostly long time employees and are very friendly, the bar itself is beautiful, they have several TV's strategically placed, and the VP is good.

I don't know how many scratch tickets we have received at MSS, probably in the low hundreds. I believe only three of them have been greater than $2, and they were both $3.
Also FWIW....I just found out that now when you get 4OAK or better, you have to A - scratch off your card when you get it and B- spin off the 4OAK ...both in front of the attendant. I'm not sure why you have to scratch it off in front of the attendant. However it's easy enough to figure out why they want you to spin it off...but scratch too??

I'll be staying there from 3/22-25 and I plan on collecting a few dozen during my stay!!
I have never scratched my cards in front of the attendant - but you do have to turn them in the day that they were won.
I have had about 2 dozen cards - all $2.00 except for one $10.00

The poster below confirmed, in the "gambling section), the new rules were in effect during his visit in Feb......

Just stayed four nights at MSS, Feb. 14-17, and hit more than a dozen 4oak... each time I had to scratch card in the presence of the attendant and play off the hand. It was explained as the new policy to prevent cheaters from making double claims.
