Shocker: McDonald’s to Close at The D, Here’s Why It’s a Big Deal

There used to  be 2 McDonald's locations downtown, The D and The Plaza. Now they both are closed. I already miss the 99 cent large coffee with first refill free off the app. Call me homeless but I really like McDonald's coffee.

No, but I definitely enjoyed starting my mornings with a large 99 cent coffee using the app. First refill was free.I  personally  like McDonald's coffee better than Starbucks.

I don't either but I find myself eating there while I am in Vegas on two occasions.

1. When I want a cheap filler meal. I don't want to spend $30+ on lunch and then another $30+ on dinner. I will typically have one nicer meal and then something cheap. There isn't a lot of cheap food on the strip and I find that the McDonald's near Harrah's is a good deal as they don't have Vegas prices. You can get a complete meal for $6.

2.  If I have over indulged and my stomach is knackered, I can usually hold McDonalds down and if not I don't feel bad because I only spent $6 on it.

I liked to go to mcdonalds for that first cup of coffee other than that i rarely do mcdonalds no cup of coffee is worth 5 dollars

I dont know if there is still one at the Plaza?  They used to give you a coupon for their onsite MCD's in their funbook.      Sausage Egg McMuffin and coffee....its one of the all time great contributions to world cuisine !

No it closed last year.  Rumor is the Plaza will be adding a burger/smash burger place soon.

Don't care for food courts .McDonalds or others. They seem to have replaced beloved buffets.

Yep, the new 'thing' is upscale food courts loaded with $22 items.

Should I care to eat at a food court I would stay home.

I don't miss either one of them. Glad they're gone
