Solo Tripping Article

Something I wrote for our website about the Pros and Cons of Solo Trips to Vegas.
Its short and easy to read, plus you can put a face to the guy who spends waaay too much time on this board obsessing over Downtown Vegas..

Very nice! Are you going to at least eventually explain what good, smart play and promotion/coupon usage is and how to do it? This would include reading good books, maybe seeing instructional Videos/DVDs as well as practicing on a good computer training program plus having the discipline to set and keep reasonable Win Goals and Loss Limits for each playing session in addition to join slot clubs and have your play tracked.

And as for Cheap Roulette in Downtown LV (since that's mentioned in your piece), the cheapest that I know of is at El Cortez where as long as you're willing to make $1 minimum bets, you can use $0.25 Chips!

When I get back Ill do another one about "How to Play Like a Whale on a Low Rollers Budget" with some tips.

And yes, I 100% agree on the ElCo for great/cheap Roulette. Have spent many a late nights there with a tower of chips that was in reality, about $8.

Flight leaves in 28 hours!!

Thanks Marko, I enjoyed the article.

I like my trips with my wife.
I like my buddy trips.
I love my solo trips, my schedule (no schedule), eating at the bar in fine restaurants on crowded nights, not explaining why I am leaving the Bellagio to go to Ellis Island.

Have fun Marko

Yep I like solo and I like with one friend and with groups it is all good for me. If solo I do tend to do over gamble. Oh well could be worse things

I agree with bank roll I have a strict daily amount.Vegas should be fun, I budget what I feel I can get enjoyment out of.

Have a great time and I'm glad that you liked my word "Decompress" -- I noticed it in your piece and I think that it (depending on the person) can be really accurate!

What I do especially if I go solo is to make sure to bring with me some good reading material and possibly a list of other things that I can do if I want to get myself away from the casino if necessary.

I also try to get more rest and get some good walking in. I can always use more walking.

I wouldn't call what you do obsessing. I think you just have a great love for this place (I do too) and want whatever additional knowledge that you can get about this place.
