Strip Gal Spending Two Nights at El Co -- Your Must Dos?!

Hey FFlowers,

Before I completely forget, with this $75 in Food Comps that you have at El Cortez, you may need to (but you should check this out) charge the stuff to your room and then they can take it off when you check out!

This is what I've read around here since food comps for me there are basically useless!

Enjoy!

Hey RecVpPlayer a.k.a. "Coach" I appreciate you and the other folks guiding my lil sis on the ways of the wise of DT Vegas! I'm trying to imagine my VEGAS VET sister doing Dt by herself! Great feedback folks!!!

Fellas/ladies... dont hesitate to Pm her on anything that she needs to be wary of!!

I'll be hanging there with her in August!!
Hey Champ,

I'm always happy to help anyone around these boards to learn what's what (as well as the best way to play)!

I always have in mind that the goal of the LVA is to help people to get more out of Las Vegas than Las Vegas gets out of them.

And she can definitely check out her PM section since you never know what information may be there as well.

But as I'm sure that you know by now, Downtown has great gaming options, comps are easier (usually take less action) to get than on the Strip and it's very easy to go from one casino to another as opposed to the Strip where it can be a long jaunt between the casinos!

Take Care!

Fflowers,
wishing you tons of luck uptown and downtown (where all the lights are bright..). If you are a traveler (and you are) it's safe/ Stand tall, lok like you know where you are going and never look like the delicate flower you are- have that Brooklyn don't-F-w-me posture and the hyneas/jackels will pick a weaker victim..as there is many before and behind you.
I would stop by MSS as they have nice nice LED screen progressives.
Do a W2G hit & run.
Please have the time of your life!!!

Excellent advice!!!

Per Noahcat . . ." Stand tall, look like you know where you are going and never look like the delicate flower you are- have that Brooklyn don't-F-w-me posture and the hyneas/jackels will pick a weaker victim.."

This seriously cracked me up. I read it after I returned and did indeed do what you recommended.

Thanks everyone for your advice and counsel. I didn't do everything I had planned -- didn't make it to the Mob Museum! -- but I did enjoy my stay in the Cabana Suites. Yes, the rooms are small but I thought the whole Cabana Suites building was extremely well done. I am not a big modern decor fan but I really liked my room and when I travel to Vegas, the three colors for clothing that I pack are Black, White and Green (for money) so I really liked the colors and was impressed with the quality of the materials used in the bathroom. Even liked the toiletries (though the ones at the Cosmopolitan, with a lavender scent, are THE BEST!)

Anyway, I would definitely stay at the Cabana Suites again. I am a strip gal at heart but for a 8-9 day trip, spending a couple of nights there was just right!
